Aamir Nawaz

Aamir Nawaz has been a resident of Oklahoma for over two decades. He moved from Pakistan for undergraduate studies at UT Austin in Texas. After completion of his Computer Science degree, he finally made Oklahoma home, joining his family business and starting a career with the National Weather Service. Currently an entrepreneur, he runs his own business of restaurant franchises and real estate. His wife is a physician and together they stay busy with their four children. He is an avid audiophile, bibliophile and car enthusiast, his other hobbies include vintage electronics,cricket and traveling.

He envisions a welcoming cohesive and compassionate, inclusive and diverse community of Pakistani diaspora residing in Oklahoma where each old and new face feels comfortable and involved. As a founding member of PAOK, he wants this platform to be a source of unity and service for the Pakistan origin community of Oklahoma.
